1. Select a Representative One person on your team should take all orders from members and place it with us. The process goes quicker and fewer mistakes are made when one person is in charge. 2. Plan Ahead Both silk screen and embroidery create an attractive team image, but they take a little longer to order. Custom team orders can take 4-6 weeks, or more, if there is a delivery delay with the manufacturer, so please plan a head. 3. Chose Silk Screen or Embroidery Silk Screen: For screen printed suits, we use a stretchable ink which will out last your lycra suit. The silk screened suit logos are guaranteed not to crack or peel. Other companies offer "heat transfers" which crack and peel. Our process is hand done screen printing, which is far superior to "heat transfers". Each suit is stretched before the logo is screened on in order to prevent damage to the logo when worn. Embroidery: Embroidery is put on while the suit is stretched so that the suit fits properly when worn. It can also be done in any desired design, however, each design should be mailed to us so we can give a quote on setting up a digitized tape. Digitized tape set up fees are more expensive than screen printing set up fees. Once the digitized tape has been made for embroidery, the size cannot be changed. Your logo may be embroidered on suits and other team apparel. 4. Design Your Graphics We can offer your team graphic art assistance at a rate of $35/hour or your team may opt to provide us camera ready art work. Your logo artwork must be "camera ready." Your art cannot be in the form of a fax. It must be the exact version you want on your suits. The art must be clean and clear in order to avoid art fees. If your team logo contains words or letters, the letters should be scaled at _" tall or taller in order to ensure the readability of the logo. Logos will only be screened on the front center chest for females and back hip for male suits with no exceptions. Logos will be as large as what will fit on a size 22 male suit. Logo placement will vary slightly from suit to suit. This is a result of the size of the suit and how each suit fits each person differently. We cannot guarantee the placement of each logo will be exactly the same on every suit. Silk screening is hand done, so teams should fully expect to see some variations in placement, ink thickness and color variations. 5. Figure Costs and Place Your Order Before printing garments or setting up screens, we require that your team signs a copy of the final artwork by fax as your approval of the design. Once approved and the screen is made, you never have to pay the screen charge again unless you decide to change the logo in any way, which includes any reducing or enlarging the image. There is a minimum order of six pieces total on screen printed suits, which may include a mix of male and female sizes. The person ordering the suits should only place orders for suits paid for in advance. The price of the suit, logo charge, freight and tax (where applicable) should be included in each swimmer's total. The first order should also include how the team wishes to pay for the cost of the screen set up charge and any artwork fees incurred. Custom items cannot be cancelled once orders are placed and items can only be returned if they are found to be defective. All custom items that are defective will be replaced at no charge.
